Jul 7 Goodbye Fresno by Jennica

We´re finally on our way. Matthew worked late and ate little during his frantic last week of work. The celebratory filet mignon was well deserved. We celebrated with friends and family on Saturday and Sunday then suddenly realized, “Hey! We need to get out of our apartment in three days!” I had packed and sorted some already, but a lot remained to be done. From Monday to Friday we packed, cleaned, repacked, sorted, and ran errands. There sure is a lot to do besides buying the tickets on a trip around the world.

We ended up sleeping around 4-6 hours per night earlier in the week and by Thursday night we watched the sun come up before lying down for a scant two hours before Chris and Misti came to pick us up. With our last hugs to the family, we were off. Vegas here we come!
