For those of you who may be wondering why you hear nothing from us for a while and then a barrage of entries appear, I thought I'd explain our system so you can know what to expect.

We've been taking notes in a notebook as we go.

Now comes the tricky part: finding Internet access. In these days of abunant laptops, there is wifi access everywhere. Internet cafes are harder to find and not all will let us plug in our camera to upload pictures. The result is that our updates are infrequent but large. Plus we're moving at a fast pace and a lot of things are happening.

In general, assume that no news is good news.
