Jul 23 Taking The Waters by Jennica

We spent several days in Bath, thrilled to find a campsite right on the edge of the city. It was great to stay in one place for four days in a row.

It is rather surreal to go to both Brighton and Bath. It’s like walking into a Jane Austin novel at times. Oddly enough, the museum at Roman Baths that made the town so famous focuses entirely on the Romans and barely acknowledges the Victorian significance. We did not take the waters as we thought that purchasing some water that most, by their expressions and full leftover glasses would not be a fun taste, but we did take high tea in the Pump Room.
