Feb 5 The Cold by Jennica

Last night I checked the thermometer and this is what I saw:

It's cold here. Really cold. This afternoon we were so pleased that the temperature warmed up to -26°C. Freezing your boogers today takes three nose inhalations instead of yesterday's one. Keep in mind I've lived here before. I was even here for the winter of '97 (record snowfall, record cold of 30 consecutive days below -30°C, record floods). Despite my experience living here in North America's Siberia...

...I'm not ashamed to admit it - living in California for three years has turned me into a weather wuss. Even though I like having a real winter instead of a little fog, this is a wee bit too much.
