"Home" For Christmas
This last fall, my parents moved from Elm Creek, Manitoba to Medicine Hat, Alberta. So during the Christmas break, I visited them in their new home.
It sure is different when your parents move without you. Most of the “stuff” is the same from childhood, but it’s still different. Then you remember why you’re there and what makes it “home.”
Just kidding (mostly).
